anyone who knows me well knows that I love Narnia… the books, not so much the new movies. i name my pet projects after narnian characters (e.g. golg, tumnus, poggin) and my computers have the names of narnian kings (e.g. caspian, tirian, and the latest blue dell addition: erlian). i think i read through the series at least once a year… and some books more than once.
the following passage i’ve posted about before… maybe in this blog… i forget. but definitely in my old xanga land. i’ve reread it a few times the past week or two and i just thought i’d share it. i won’t explain why i like it because i think that might take away from the passage itself. so if you have some time to visit Narnia with me, read on.
I put more of an excerpt than i usually do because i think the surrounding text helps build the scene. it’s long but i hope it’s worth your time.
