for those of you who don’t know, i quit my job earlier this summer—a job i’ve had for nearly 4 years and i’m starting my seminary education this fall.
it’s strange to be in this place between two worlds: working world and ministry world. i entered the working world knowing that at some point i would leave it to do ministry. in the months leading to my departure from work, i anticipated switching modes to be difficult… especially with the finances. but surprisingly i’m finding that i can live pretty well on a very much adjusted budget. sure i can’t eat out regularly anymore but what i really loved was the people i ate with more than the food.
i love that i’m not in a building anymore making software but i can be out and about throughout the whole day meeting with people.
